In all the districts in Tamil Nadu, under the leadership of the District Collector, the Press and Public Relations Officers are meeting the public along with the journalists. This is happening every month.
They visit the public in person and get to know the details about the benefits from the people who have benefited from the welfare schemes of the government. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin has ordered to hold a program on the topic “Niranta Manam” from August to coincide with this event.
What about the bus travel card concession for journalists?
In the current year, 457 journalists who have obtained Accreditation Card have been given a number of 457 cards to travel in State Transport Corporation buses. In other districts, 2,917 have been issued on the recommendation of the concerned District Collector. So a total of 3,374 free bus travel cards have been issued.
Arrange to issue bus pass soon
Chief Minister M.K.Stalin said that appropriate action will be taken regarding the provision of bus pass to the journalists working in periodicals or periodicals who have got press pass.
