Due to this, common devotees who come to Tirupati Tirumala have to wait for a long time for darshan. In this case, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has instructed the Devasthanam authorities to reduce VIP darshan. Chandrababu Naidu, who presented a silk robe on the first day of the annual Brahmotsavam at the Tirupati Eyumalayan Temple, participated in various programs organized by the Tirumala Devasthanam today.
Following this, Chandrababu Naidu held a review meeting with senior officials of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) at Tirupati Padmavathi Guest House and asked them to ensure that only the best quality ingredients are used in the preparation of Latdu Prasad. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu also said that the devotees coming to the temple said that the quality of Lattu Prasadam has improved and it should continue.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said this amid allegations by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and TTD executive that adulterated ghee was used in the preparation of Tirupati Laddu Prasad during the previous YSR Congress regime. Chandrababu Naidu also said that the VIP culture should be reduced in Tirumala and there should be no commotion when celebrities visit the temple.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that the decoration in the temple should be simple and spiritual and not only TTD but all the temples should accept the opinion of the devotees in every way. Chandrababu Naidu also said that no other word should be heard in Tirumala except “Govinda Naam”.
