Chennai: While the price of ornamental gold has been increasing for the past few days, today it has decreased by Rs.320 in a single day.
Due to international crude oil export and import, petrol and diesel prices fluctuate. Similarly, when inflation and demand for gold increases, the price of gold also increases.
Thus, the price of gold is rising and falling every day. Yesterday it rose Rs 400 to cross Rs 55,000. But today, it has decreased by Rs.320 in just one day.
As of today (21-05-2024) in Chennai 22 carat jewelery prices fell by Rs 320 to Rs 54,880 per gram and Rs 40 to Rs 6,860 per gram. Similarly, silver prices fell by Rs 2 to Rs 99 per gram and silver fell by Rs 2,000 to Rs 99,900 per kg.
As of yesterday (20-05-2024) in Chennai, the price of 22 carat jewelery rose by Rs 400 to Rs 55,200 per bar and Rs 50 to Rs 6,900 per gram. It is noteworthy that the price of silver rose sharply today by Rs.4.50 per gram to Rs.101 per gram and Rs.1,01,000 per kg.
