Honda’s Activa is the number one selling scooter in India. Currently the Activa 6G model is being sold in India. Honda is expected to launch the Activa 7G model soon.
Activa 6G model currently on sale was launched in 2020. After that the company launched only one 6G variant called H-Smart. The company has not launched any new updated Activa model.
While the 7G model is rumored to be launched soon, there is no official word from Honda on whether a new updated Activa 7G model is in the works or not.
However, there are reports that the company is developing a new scooter with hybrid capability and the new model will be called Activa 7G. Based on this information, if Honda introduces the Activa model with hybrid facility, it will be a model that will give more mileage than the current Activa 6G model.
The company is expected to use hybrid technology for extra mileage. The current Activa 6G model is being sold in three variants namely Standard, Deluxe and H-Smart. The standard variant is priced at Rs 76,000 ex-showroom and the H-Smart variant is priced at Rs 82,000 ex-showroom.
It seems that if Honda releases a new Activa model by updating this Activa model, it will be released at an additional price than this. Meanwhile, Honda is reportedly developing a new electric scooter based on the Activa. If the Activa electric scooter is released, it will be Honda’s first electric scooter.
