Nainar Nagendran: Nayanar Nagendran has said that I have nothing to do with the money seized at Tambaram railway station.
Due to the Lok Sabha elections, on the last 6th, the election flying forces conducted a search at this Tambaram railway station. Around Rs.4 crores were seized from three persons namely Satish, Naveen and Perumal and they were also arrested.
After this, it was reported that during the interrogation of the arrested persons, they said that they were the employees of BJP candidate Nayanar Nagendran’s hotel and the seized money belonged to him. Subsequently, the Flying Squad and the Tambaram Police raided various places belonging to Nayanar Nagendran.
Later, the first information report related to this case was also released. It was reported that the money seized in Chennai was said to belong to BJP candidate Nayanar Nagendran.
Following this, Tambaram police had issued a summons to Nayanar Nagendran, but he did not appear, so the summons was issued for the second time. Accordingly, they have issued a summons to appear for hearing on May 2 regarding the confiscation of Rs.4 crores.
In this situation, BJP candidate Nayanar Nagendran, who spoke at a press conference in Chennai, was questioned about the confiscation of Rs 4 crore. He then said that I have nothing to do with the money seized at the Tambaram railway station.
