A young man was admitted to hospital after trying to play with a snake while intoxicated. According to reports, the incident took place near a college in Katiri area of Sri Satya Sai district in Andhra Pradesh.
Madhubabu Nagaraju, who was drunk, tried to catch the snake that had entered the college premises. Later, when the snake escaped into the bushes, he brought the snake back and started playing with it. In the viral video, Nagaraju can be seen hitting the head of the snake. The snake bit him in the blink of an eye.
The video also shows a bystander alerting Nagaraju playing with a snake.
X user Sudhakar Udumula, who shared the video, wrote, “Despite loud warnings and scoldings from concerned onlookers, he continued to recklessly handle the abandoned snake. Nagaraju was bitten by a snake and the situation turned dire. Shocked onlookers immediately called an ambulance. Nagaraju was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment.

The video, which has garnered more than 69,000 views, has been flooded with comments as social media users raise concerns. An X user responded, “Why isn’t anyone taking action? There are very few people around him. Thanks to the people who called the ambulance.” Another user commented, “Instead of taking a video, someone could have pulled him and let the snake escape. The snake was patient for a long time.” He commented that.
“Notice how the snake was alert and maximally reluctant to bite. Animals are more intelligent than humans,” another X user posted.
