AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi Palanichamy has criticized that there is no security for the police in the Vidya DMK regime.
In a social media post published by him in this regard, he said, “The incident of drug addicts attacking the policemen during the temple festival held near Thiruchengode in Namakkal district has created great fear among the people as it is circulating in the media and social networks. Due to the increase in drug culture in Tamil Nadu, the public and traders were being attacked, now the incidents of drug addicts attacking the police in public are worrying.
The untouchable Vidya DMK rulers and the police who are supposed to prevent this are keeping vigil. Due to such people, there is great fear and insecurity for the traders and the public. What is the Chief Minister of the Vidya DMK Government who has the police in his hands going to do? M.K.Stalin? Vidya said, “I urge the DMK chief minister to keep the police free and protect law and order so that such incidents do not happen again.”
