India won the T20 World Cup by 24 runs in the Super 8 round match against Australia yesterday.
The T20 World Cup cricket series is being held in West Indies and USA. The league rounds are over and now the Super 8 round is underway. In this situation, in the Super 8 round match held last night, India and Australia teams played a lot of tests. The match was played at Darren Sammy Stadium in West Indies at 8 PM IST.
Australia captain Mitchell Marsh won the toss and elected to bowl first. Following this, the Indian team batted first. Opener Virat Kohli was bowled out for no runs by Rohit Sharma on the other side who scattered the ball for four and got out on 92 runs. Rishabh Pant, who came in next, was dismissed for 15 runs and Suryakumar Yadav for 31 runs. In the end the team scored 205 runs at the end of 20 overs losing 5 wickets.
