84A submarine belonging to the Indian Navy officially arrived at the port of Colombo yesterday morning and the submarine was welcomed by the Sri Lankan Navy in a naval ceremony.
‘INS Named Shalki, the submarine is 64.4 meters long. Consists of 40 marines. During the submarine’s stay, the Sri Lankan Navy will participate in an awareness program related to its operational activities.
The Navy said that the submarine will visit some parts of the country and visit important places.
It is noteworthy that this submarine will depart from here tomorrow (04).
