The Railway Board has issued an important directive to all Railway Zones and Manufacturing Units in India. Accordingly, it has been decided to provide two liter water bottles to the track maintainers. It is worth noting that it comes in an insulated bottle.
Increased exposure to the sun
The impact of heat waves is increasing across the country. Therefore, the public is unable to move outside. Even if it rains from time to time, when the sun’s influence is high, it cannot be attacked. Especially the railway employees have to work in the open.
Water bottle plan
They should drink water at regular intervals. But many people forget to drink water in the excitement of working. So if you provide water bottles to carry in your hand, it will be helpful to drink on the way. Whereas ordinary water bottles are affected by heat.
Facility for Railway Employees
The water inside will be heated. If it is an insulated bottle, the water will be prevented from heating. The water stays cool for about 5 to 6 hours. It is with this in mind that Indian Railways has decided to provide insulated 2 liter water bottles to the track management staff.
Staff members are welcome
All India Railway Management Employees Association has welcomed this project. But it is worth noting that even though the announcement was made last month, it has not come into force yet. Therefore, it is requested to implement the scheme immediately without delay.
Urgent implementation soon
As far as Tamil Nadu is concerned, all the districts are receiving good rains. But the situation is not like that in North India. The effect of heat is more visible. So it is the duty of the Indian Railways to protect the railway employees working in the open air.
