BMW’s 7 Series won the Premium Car of the Year award. The German BMW Group has brought innovative technology, superior luxury and safety features, quality engine in these 7 series cars and knocked this award from Mercedes. Last year, Mercedes Benz EQS 580 car won the same award. The BMW 7 Series has scored many points in a poll of automotive journalists.
Apart from BMW 7 series, Mercedes Benz GLC, BMW X1, Lexus LX, Lexus RX, Volvo C40 Recharge, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Land Rover Sport participated in this competition. The second place is occupied by Mercedes-Benz GLC and the third place by BMW X1.
The BMW 7 Series, which was launched in India earlier this year, also got an electric version called the i7. The car is now available in three powertrain options – petrol (740i M Sport), diesel (740d M Sport) and electric (i7).
