2Ireland Women leveled the two-match series 1–1 with a 7-wicket win in the second T20I against Sri Lanka.
Ireland, who won the toss and batted first in this match held yesterday (13) in Dublin, scored 173 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs thanks to the century of Guppy Lewis (119).
In response, Sri Lanka women fought till the end and scored only 166 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. The openers were Harshita Senaviratna who scored 65 runs off 44 balls and Kavisha Dilhari scored an unbeaten 51 runs.
Sri Lanka, who are touring Ireland, will next play a three-match ODI series against Ireland. The first match will be held in Belfast tomorrow (16).
