Gopalakrishnan, lawyer representing Chavku Shankar, met the media at the Coimbatore court premises.
Then he said; We had filed a petition in the court that Chawku Shankar was assaulted in jail and that he should be treated. In this case, according to the court order, Chawku Shankar has been treated at Coimbatore Government Hospital.
An x-ray of the arm revealed that the arm was fractured in 2 places. Whip Shankar has been tied with flour. Chavku Shankar said that he has come out of depression after the treatment.
It is confirmed that Chawku Shankar was assaulted in jail. The city cybercrime police had filed a petition to take them into custody, but they withdrew it. Chavku Shankar should be brought back to the government hospital to change the bandage on Monday.
