Tech Mahindra: IT giant Tech Mahindra has decided to recruit 6000 youth this year.
Tech Mahindra, the country’s fifth largest IT services company, yesterday (April 25) reported a 40.9% drop in its net profit to Rs 661 crore in the final quarter of last fiscal. This was Rs 13,718 crore compared to the same period last year.
The Pune, Maharashtra-based company’s total workforce declined by 795 from the previous quarter to 1,45,455, down from 1,52,400 employees a year ago to 6,945.
In this case, Tech Mahindra has announced that it is going to employ 6000 new youth workers in order to see a turnaround in profits from the first quarter of the financial year 2024-25.
Through this, 1500 people are going to be hired every quarter. Also, over 50,000 employees will be trained in AI during the year, according to Joshi Revenue analyst.
