Coimbatore Mettupalayam-Nellie weekly special train service has been extended by another month.
As railway transport plays a very important role in our country, special trains are usually run on festival days and weekends depending on the crowd and reception of passengers.
Nellai-Mettupalayam Special Train:
In that way, the special train that was run between Nellai and Mettupalayam has been extended by one more month due to the increase in the number of passengers.
In this regard, a press release issued by the Southern Railway Salem section says, “Special trains are operated from the Salem railway section once or twice a week. And depending on the passenger’s response, the service of these special trains is extended on certain routes.
Extension for one more month:
Accordingly, the weekly special train service operated between Tirunelveli-Mettupalayam has been extended. Between Tirunelveli-Mettupalayam at 7 pm bus no. 06030 Weekly Special Train from Nellai on 07.07. 2024 will run from Sunday to 28/7/2014. The train reaches Mettupalayam at 7.30 am the next day.
Similarly Mettupalayam-Nellai weekly special train no. 06029 will leave Mettupalayam from 8.7.2024 to 29.7.2024 at 7.45 PM and reach Tirunelveli at 7.45 AM the next day.
This train consists of AC double decker, AC 3 decker, sleeper class unreserved coaches.
Train Stops:
This train will halt at Cheranmakadevi, Kallidaikurichi, Ambasamudram, Keezakadayam, Bhavoorchatram, Thenkasi, Kadayanallur, Sankarankovil, Rajapalayam, Srivilliputhur, Sivakasi, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Ottanchatram, Palani, Udumalaipet, Coimbatore, Pollachi. Passengers are happy as the train service has been extended.
