Prime Minister Modi has traveled to Russia and Austria for two days.
Modi, who visited Russia the day before yesterday, was given a warm welcome in Moscow. “I have landed in Moscow. Steps will be taken to further strengthen the relationship between the two countries. Full cooperation will be given especially in relation to future determining sectors. Such measures will greatly benefit our people,” Modi had posted at that time.
PM Modi met Russian President Vladimir Putin at his farmhouse. The two leaders discussed various issues.
Modi has been sworn in as Prime Minister for the third time after winning the recent Lok Sabha elections in India. Putin also won the election in Russia. So the two leaders exchanged greetings.
An annual summit between India and Russia was also held. Later, the two heads of state met the media. Prime Minister Modi has been awarded Russia’s highest award, St. Andrew
Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for Austria after a successful Russia visit. He was given a rousing welcome at the airport on his arrival in the Austrian capital, Vienna.
In this regard, Modi posted on his social media page, “Thank you, Carl Necker, for the warm welcome. I look forward to our discussions tomorrow. “Our countries will continue to work together for the benefit of the world,” he said.
Modi meets Austrian President Alexander von der Bellen and talks about mutual cooperation between the two countries.
