Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Police has arrested the main culprit who committed various malpractices and frauds in the NEET examination. It is revealed that he has created a network across the country to cheat in the examinations.
The NEET exam for admission to medical courses was held across the country last May. In this case, there were complaints from all over the country that there were various irregularities in this examination. Complaints are pouring in that the NEET question paper was leaked, many students scored 720 out of 720, and many students in the same exam center got the same score.
It has been revealed that 12 students who appeared for the NEET exam have received the question paper in advance at an examination center in Patna, the capital of Bihar. Lakhs of money are changing hands for this. Similarly, the police investigation revealed that the NEET question paper was sold for Rs 40 lakh in Bihar. 15 people including 4 students have been arrested in connection with these scams. 5 people have been arrested in Jharkhand.
In this case, when the police interrogated them, many names were hit and finally they settled on the name of one. That is Ravi Adri. Ravi Adri has already been accused of many exam scams including leaking the question paper of Uttar Pradesh constable examination. Now the police have confirmed that the Ravi Atri gang is involved in the NEET examination malpractice.
Following this, on the information provided by the Bihar Police, UP. Special Task Force police arrested Ravi Adri today. The interrogation revealed that he had leaked the NEET question paper from Uttar Pradesh and then transported it to Bihar via Jharkhand. It is said by the police that the investigation is going on and many people from different states will be arrested one after the other. As many scams are taking place, protests are breaking out all over the country to cancel the NEET exam.
