The recent malpractices in the NEET exam have confirmed Tamil Nadu’s stand against the NEET exam. Many states have also started voicing their views on the need to abolish this examination system.

He urged the Prime Minister that the Union Government should approve the bill to exempt Tamil Nadu from NEET examination and that the Union Government should make appropriate amendments in the National Medical Commission Act so as to abandon the NEET examination system at the national level. He has requested to intervene quickly and take appropriate action in this matter.
