NEET, the entrance examination for medical courses in this academic year 2024-2025, was conducted yesterday. It is conducted as an examination for undergraduate degrees in medical courses including MBBS, BDS. The NEET exam was held in around 557 cities across the country and in 14 foreign countries. The NEET exam was held from 2 PM to 5:20 PM.

This year around 24 lakh students applied for NEET exam. As far as Tamil Nadu is concerned, it is said that one and a half lakh students have written the NEET exam. Since it is the most important examination of the country, there was a strict vigilance to ensure that no irregularities should occur there.

In this case, there are reports that the question paper has been leaked in the state of Rajasthan. In this case, the National Examinations Agency has clarified that this information being shared is not true.

The National Examinations Agency said that the question paper was leaked by the students who forcibly left the examination halls before the end of the NEET exam and the question paper was leaked only at 4 o’clock and the exams had started before that. There have been many complaints on social media that the NEET question was leaked.

In a girls’ high school examination hall set up in the state of Rajasthan, the students who appeared for the examination in Hindi have been given an English question paper. However, the invigilators offered to change it immediately. However, the officials also said that the students suddenly left the exam hall forcibly with the question papers.

Also, the norm is that students should leave the exam hall only after the exam is over. However, the NEET question paper was leaked on social media around 4 pm by students who were forced to leave.

But by then the exams had started in all the NEET exam centers. Therefore, the officials of the National Examination Agency denied the news that the NEET question paper was leaked before the examination.

Now another allegation has arisen as six people, including an MBBS student, have already been arrested for impersonating the national entrance exam (NEET) in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur. An incident of impersonation of a junior medical student has taken place in the donation center located at Mast Adityendra School in Bharatpur, Rajasthan.

The initial investigation revealed that medical student Abhishek Gupta, along with his fellow student Ravi Meena, committed the fraud by receiving Rs 10 lakh from his brother Rahul Gurjar.

In this regard, Assistant Superintendent of Police Akhilesh Kumar said, ‘Medical student Abhishek Thorvelthu came to the center instead of Rahul Gurjar and engaged in human trafficking. Subsequently, Abhishek was handed over to the police. In his subsequent interrogation, he admitted that five more were accomplices in the crime. They were waiting in their car outside the center.

Subsequently, Dhwar Rahul Gurjar, medical students Abhishek Gupta, Ravi Meena and 6 people namely Amit, Dayaram and Suraj Singh were arrested. We are investigating everyone. The next steps will continue,’ he said.
