The National Intelligence Agency officials are carrying out raids at 12 places in Tamil Nadu since early this morning.
The National Intelligence Agency (NIA) officials have received confidential information that some people in Tamil Nadu are recruiting people in support of Hizbud Tahir, an internationally banned organization. Based on that, the National Intelligence Agency officials are conducting raids at 12 locations across Tamil Nadu. That is, testing is being done at 12 places including Thanjavur, Pudukottai, Kumbakonam. Ahmed N.I.A., who is considered to be the main figure associated with that movement. He has been brought into the ring of inquiry.
Testing is going on at 5 locations in Thanjavur. The house of Sheikh Alauddin in Manangorai, Abdul Rahman’s house in Saliyamangalam and Mujibil Rahman’s house are being searched. It is expected that the full details regarding this will be known after the completion of this trial.
