Accordingly, e-pass has been made mandatory for tourists coming to the Nilgiris district from May 7. E-Pass will be issued to all who apply online. And one e-pass per vehicle is sufficient.

E-pass is not required for Nilgiris by government bus. It has been informed that people coming to Nilgiris from outlying districts and states can get e-pass by registering their cell phone number and those coming from foreign countries can get e-pass by registering their email address.
