The Mumbai team came into the field with a target of 170 runs and lost important wickets. Mumbai’s Suryakumar Yadav was the only one to score a half-century at one end. However, after his dismissal, the Mumbai team completely lost the match. In the end they lost all 10 wickets and scored only 145 runs. Kolkata won by 25 runs after 12 years in Mumbai.
Mumbai captain Hardik Pandya spoke about the reason behind the defeat after the match. When he spoke, “The batting was a bit difficult for us today.
