Nuvan Dushara, who was named for the R20 series with the Indian team in Sri Lanka, has withdrawn from it due to a finger injury.
The Sri Lankan Cricket Association said in a statement that he sustained an injury on his left finger during batting practice last night (24).
The Sri Lankan Cricket Association further mentioned that in the medical examination conducted for the same, it has been revealed that there has been a fracture in the said finger.
Following this, the Sri Lankan Cricket Association has mentioned that Dilshan Madhushanka has been added to the team instead of Nuvan Dushara.
It is noteworthy that Asitha Benanto has been invited to the team to replace Dushmantha Sameera who has already withdrawn from the team due to injury.
The 3-match R20 series between the two teams will begin next Saturday (27) at Ballegala.
