Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has written a congratulatory letter to Om Birla on his re-election as Lok Sabha Speaker. DMK Parliamentary Committee Chairman Kanimozhi personally presented the congratulatory letter given by the Chief Minister.
In the recently concluded 18th Lok Sabha elections, Om Birla won the Kota Lok Sabha seat by contesting on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Om Birla’s name as the speaker of the 18th Lok Sabha was forwarded by the National Democratic Alliance while he was the Speaker of the 17th Lok Sabha.
Om Birla won on majority basis through voice vote and took over as Speaker yesterday. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin has written a congratulatory letter to Om Birla, who has taken over as Lok Sabha Speaker, while many leaders of political parties are congratulating him. DMK Parliamentary Committee Leader Kanimozhi personally met and presented the letter to Om Birla in Delhi.
