Chennai : A Coimbatore court has ordered a one-day remand for YouTuber Chavik Shankar.
The Coimbatore Cyber Crime Police registered a case against YouTuber Chavku Shankar for defaming female police officers and he was arrested in Theni on the 4th. After that he was brought from Theni to Coimbatore and produced in the court. He was then sentenced to 15 days judicial custody.
Later, the Coimbatore Cyber Crime Police requested the Coimbatore Criminal Court to interrogate Chavuk Shankar, who is in judicial custody, for 5 days for trial. In this case, the Coimbatore Criminal Court has granted permission to remand Chavuka Shankar, who was produced in the Coimbatore court today, for questioning.
After the investigation, they have again issued an order to produce Chavku Shankar in the court tomorrow evening.
