Arvinder Singh Lovely : Former Delhi Congress president Arvinder Singh Lovely joined BJP today.
Arvinder Singh Lovely joined the BJP in a major political turn in Delhi politics during the parliamentary elections. Last week, Arvinder Singh Lovely quit the Congress party expressing his dissatisfaction with the Congress alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi in the parliamentary elections.
He has served as the state president of the Congress party for about 3 times. He was also the youngest MLA of Delhi. Arvinder Singh Lovely was also a minister in the Sheila Dikshit cabinet during the Congress rule.
Arvinder Singh Lovely joined the BJP in the presence of Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and senior BJP leader Vinod Tawde who left the party after protesting the Congress alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party.
Like Arvinder Singh, former state minister Raj Kumar Chauhan and other prominent Congress figures joined the BJP. It is noteworthy that Arvinder Singh Lovely, who left the Congress party in 2017 and joined the BJP, left the BJP and joined the Congress within a year.
