Petitions seeking cancellation of NEET examination; Supreme Court prohibits trial of 3 iCourts

The Supreme Court on Thursday stayed proceedings on petitions filed in three high courts regarding question paper leaks and irregularities in the NEET (NEET-UG 2024) examination.

A vacation bench comprising Justices Vikram Nath and SVN Bhatti sought responses from the National Examinations Agency, the Center and others on all the petitions related to the matter, including those seeking cancellation of the NEET exam. The petitions filed by the National Examinations Agency and other petitioners will come up for hearing on July 8.

Hearing a separate petition related to the NEET exam, the Supreme Court on June 18 said that even if someone shows 0.001 percent negligence in conducting the exam, it should be dealt with completely.
