Velmurugan : The singer filed a complaint against the Chennai Metro Rail Corporation official Velmurugan Arrest.
Popular singer Vel Murugan, who has sung many hit songs in Tamil cinema, has been arrested in a case of assaulting a metro officer. It is said that the day before yesterday, when the car was traveling through Virugampakkam Arkadu road, the road was blocked with an iron barrier due to the metro works going on there.
However, when singer Vel Murugan tried to go through that area, Vadivelu, the assistant manager on duty, reprimanded him saying that he cannot go in this area as the metro work is going on. This led to an argument between singer Vel Murugan and him.
It is said that singer Vel Murugan, who became enraged at some point, assaulted the officer and left after uttering obscenities. Following this, the officer filed a complaint against Vel Murugan at the Virugampakkam police. Based on this, the police registered the case and arrested famous singer Velmurugan today.
Vel Murugan was arrested after registering a case under two sections including speaking obscenity and assault, after conducting an investigation, he warned him not to engage in such activities and released him on bail.
