Congress Manifesto: The Indian on Congress’ promise of property sharing OvaRsis CongressLieVar Sam Pitrota explains.
Political party leaders are actively involved in parliamentary election campaigns. The second phase of the election will be held this week after the first phase of the election ended on Friday last week. Major parties like BJP and Congress are making their promises ahead of the elections.
Congress Promise:
The Congress in their election promise had mentioned that the land ceiling law would be set up and a committee would be set up to count the assets of the rich and if they were in excess, they would be distributed to the poor. Prime Minister Modi has been strongly criticizing this in recent campaign meetings. He criticized the Congress party for taking away the hard-earned property of the people and giving it to those who had more children and those who infiltrated the country, and that the Congress would count even the gold kept by women.
US regulation:
In this case, Indian Overseas Congress president and India-US businessman Sam Pitrota has given an explanation to the ANI news agency in a simple interview about the promise of the Congress. In it, he pointed out that similar asset ceiling laws are in force in the United States.
45%-55% Distribution :
He further said that inheritance tax rules are in force in the US. That means rich people earning more than $100 million can only give 45 percent of their assets to their next-generation heirs. The remaining 55 percent of the property will be confiscated by the government for the benefit of the public.
Poor – Rich:
But, that is not the case in India. One can earn as much property as he wants and pass it on to his heirs. Due to this, the gap between the rich and the poor is widening day by day. (The rich get richer. The poor get poorer).
Minimum Wage:
Also, America has something called minimum wage. But, that is not the case in India. The rich hire their workers by paying them minimum wage. Indian Overseas Congress President Sam Pitroda mentioned in an interview that the Congress has mentioned that the minimum wage will be announced as 400 rupees to address it.
