French citizenship15 candidates are contesting in the Asian constituency, Puducherry has around 4550 voters. And Vice Consul Talbot Barrow opened the polls at the French Consulate. If the right-wing parties win, people with citizenship living abroad are likely to face restrictions and lose their citizenship. A large number of Tamils living abroad and in Sri Lanka will be deprived of their citizenship and privileges.
