Superstar Rajinikanth has started the dubbing work of Vediyaan.

Rajinikanth, who is celebrated as a superstar by his fans, acted in the movie Jailer which was released last year. The film was a huge hit with fans both at the box office and critically. Rajinikanth then teamed up with DJ Gnanavel, the director of Jai Bheem.

According to this, the new film produced by their alliance is titled as Vedatiyan. It is produced by Lyca and Anirudh composes the music. Superstar Rajinikanth will play the role of a police officer in the film and the film is developing in an action-packed storyline. Along with Rajinikanth, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan and Bhagat Basil are playing the lead roles. The shooting of this film has already started and was going on in several phases in places like Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
