Resolution of no confidence in Kanchipuram DMK Mayor!

It has been informed that a vote of no confidence will be held on the 29th to bring a resolution of no confidence in the Mayor of Kanchipuram Corporation.

The problems between the Kanchipuram mayor’s side and the DMK councilors continue to increase. As a result, Mayor Mahalakshmi has now been forced to face a no-confidence motion.

Recently, 33 councilors met the district collector and submitted a petition to pass a no-confidence motion against Kanchipuram DMK Mayor Mahalakshmi.

As the problem in Kanchipuram Corporation increased, Minister Nehru called all the councilors and held peace talks, but the DMK councilors did not back down from the mayor’s opposition.

The councilors allege allegations of non-allocation of funds to wards and interference of the mayor’s husband Yuvraj in the affairs of the corporation.

In this situation, it has been informed that a vote of no confidence will be held on the coming 29th to bring a resolution of no confidence in the Mayor of Kanchipuram Corporation.

A copy of the notification has been sent to the members of the Municipal Corporation Commissioner that the vote of no confidence will be held on the 29th while the opposition district members have raised the war flag to bring a resolution of no confidence on the Mayor of Kanchipuram Corporation.

It seems that this action has been taken when 33 opposition councilors, including DMK, have been raising the war flag and putting pressure on the Corporation Commissioner. The Municipal Corporation will meet on July 29 for the no-confidence vote against DMK Mayor Mahalakshmi. 33 out of 51 councilors in Kanchipuram have opposed Mayor Mahalakshmi.
