Mexico: 14 killed as pilgrim bus crashes in central Mexico
The Salma Christian Church in southwest Mexico is one of the main holy sites for Christians in Mexico. People from the central Mexican state of Guanajuato set off by bus to make a pilgrimage to this temple.
The bus was on the Kabul-Salma National Highway when it suddenly lost control and crashed on the road. It has been reported that 14 people died on the spot.
Upon learning of the accident, the local Mexican Secretariat of Defense immediately dispatched a medical team and rescue personnel. While 14 people have died in this accident so far, 31 people have been rescued with injuries and are being given proper treatment.
