Robbery of gold jewelery by punching a hole in the wall
The incident of looting a jewelry store in Tambaram by breaking a hole in the toilet wall has created a lot of excitement.
Parish Jewelery and Pawnshop is on Camroad next to Tambaram. The owner, Manoj, while the shop was closed as usual yesterday, the robber who entered by drilling a hole in the toilet wall at the back tried to cut and break the lockers.
At the same time, 20 kg of silver articles were taken away. Also, the owner said that the locker could not be opened regarding the theft of gold jewellery, and only if it was opened would it be revealed that it had been stolen.
Selaiyur police have registered a case and are recording clues. Also, a picture of one person has been recorded in the CCTV camera recording.
Senior police officers including Selaiyur Assistant Commissioner Christine Jayasil are conducting the investigation in person.
