Sarvodaya founder Dr. A. T. Ariyaratne passes away at 92

108Sarvodaya Shramadana Motion of Sri Lanka founder Sri Lankabhimanya Dr. A. T. Ariyaratne, handed away yesterday (16). He has handed away on the age of 92 whereas present process remedy in a hospital, in response to studies. Born on November 5, 1931 within the South, Dr. Ahangamage Tudor Ariyaratne obtained his major training from the village faculty, secondary training from Mahinda Faculty in Galle and better training from Vidyodaya College.

He was a former highschool trainer at Nalanda Faculty and performed the primary shramadana work camp in 1958 which ultimately led to the institution of the biggest non-government organisation in Sri Lanka and has obtained quite a few native and worldwide awards together with the Sri Lankabhimanya, highest nationwide award in 2007 from the President of Sri Lanka, in recognition of his dedication and dedication for the nation and its folks.

Dr. Ariyaratne is the daddy of six distinguished kids and has led tens of 1000’s of household gatherings and meditations with thousands and thousands of individuals all through Sri Lanka and different elements of the world.
