11England Under-19 leveled the three-match series 1–1 with a 30-run win in the second Youth ODI against Sri Lanka Under-19s.
Opener Pretty Macken scored 174 runs off 139 balls on behalf of the England team who won the toss and batted first in the match held yesterday (01) at the Howe County Ground. With this, the team lost 7 wickets in 50 overs and scored 360 runs.
It is noteworthy that Dunira Kalupahan took 5 wickets in bowling.
In response, the Sri Lankan youth team fought till the end but lost all the wickets for 330 runs in 49.2 overs. Opener Pulindu Perera top scored with 64 off 59 balls.
Meanwhile, the third and final ODI between the two teams that will decide the series will be played today (03) at the same Hove ground.
