SLvIND : The day after tomorrow, the Indian team will play a tour series against the Sri Lankan team, and this series is quite expected by the cricket fans.
The Indian team will play a tour in Sri Lanka on 26th July i.e. the day after tomorrow. The tour will consist of 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is. Also, this will be the first tour series under Gautam Gambhir after taking over as the new head coach of the Indian team.
Thus, there is a lot of anticipation for this series as to how Gambhir is going to handle the young and experienced Indian team. Also, Suryakumar Yadav will act as the captain for the T20 matches to be played in this tour series. Fans are also eager to see how Gambhir and Suryakumar Yadav’s thinking will be.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are back after retirement for the ODI series. Rohit Sharma will continue as captain. Subman Gill has been appointed as the vice-captain for both the T20 and ODI series going forward.
The first T20 match is scheduled to be played on 27th at 7 pm at Ballekale. The next 2 T20 matches are scheduled to be played on July-28 and July-30 at the same venue at 7 PM. The next three ODIs are scheduled to be played at the Colombo Stadium on August 2, 4 and 7 at 2.30 pm IST.
