The Central Government is giving Geographical Indication Tag to the products that are the pride of that place so that those unique products should not be manufactured in other places for the purpose of business with the same name.
Thus, Tamil Nadu is at the top in the state-wise geocoded list. So far Tamil Nadu has got 58 products and is at the top. In the last year 2023 alone, 11 products have been given geographical indication in Tamil Nadu. Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh are next.
