The name of the new project is “Tamilb Putulavan”. In other words, such a program was brought to celebrate not only the students of higher education, but also the students. Students will get Rs 1,000 per month through this scheme. It will be directly credited to the bank account.

Students must have studied in government schools to avail the benefits of the Tamil Putulvan scheme. From 6th to 12th class continuously in government school should study in Tamil medium and after that join higher education. About 3.28 lakh students are expected to benefit from the Tamil Putulavan scheme.

In this regard, the Tamil Nadu government has decided to allocate 360 ​​crore rupees annually. The overall objective of this scheme is to empower economically backward students. No student should be prevented from pursuing higher education due to poverty.
