Terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda; 3rd attack in 3 days

Terrorists have attacked Jammu and Kashmir for the 3rd time in a row in 3 days, causing tension on the border. An encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district on Tuesday night. This is the 3rd terror attack in Union Territory in last 3 days.

The encounter began when terrorists opened fire on a joint check post of 4 Rashtriya Rifles and police in Chhattarkala area of ​​Doda, following which security forces retaliated.

Additional Director of Police Anand Jain confirmed that the firing was ongoing. The security forces said that terrorists attacked a house in Saida village and retaliated.

According to sources, the militants forced their way into the house and demanded water. On seeing the terrorists, the father and son who were staying there ran away and the terrorists opened fire.

Meanwhile, a special operation team of the Jammu and Kashmir Police reached the spot
They responded. One terrorist was shot dead. Also, a joint operation by the police and paramilitary forces is underway to eliminate the remaining terrorists holed up in the area.

Earlier, in the last 2 days, terrorists had attacked Reisi and Katwa in Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorists attacked a bus carrying devotees from Shiv Ghori temple to Katra in Riasi district on Sunday. The bus overturned in the valley. 9 people died and 41 people were injured.

J&K Police has released a picture of one of the terrorists involved in the attack. They have announced that a reward of 20 lakh rupees will be given for information about him.
