Chennai : A video of a child stuck on the roof of an apartment block and fighting for life has gone viral.
An incident in which a young child slipped and fell on the tin sheet below in an apartment block located in Poombozhi Nagar of Avadi Tirumullaivai in Chennai district has left the heart reeling. A child who fell from the 4th floor accidentally landed on the roof of the first floor.
When the child went to the point of falling down on the tin slip, the neighbors watched and joined together to rescue the child. The child slowly tried to fall down from the tin slip. Many people who saw this tried to take a big blanket and spread it lengthwise to catch the baby safely if it fell down.
Similarly, some others tried to lift the child up by holding the wire so that they could lift it up. Just then someone climbed up from the window and tried to save the child. The child also crawled down properly and the person also climbed up at the right time and lifted the child safely at the right time. This saved the child’s life.
The rescued child has been taken to a children’s hospital in Chennai and is said to be doing well. As videos related to this are going viral on social media, many people who have seen the video are so indifferent to the mother and father of this child? They are always raising their questions.
