I am proud to have worked in the Tamil Nadu Police Department. My grandfather Perumal worked as head constable. My father Ayyasamy joined the service as SI and worked up to DSP.
I am a third generation police officer in our family. Thanks to my grandparents who were the reason for this. Thanks to my wife, Seema Aggarwal, DGP, Uniformed Personnel Selection Group and my family for supporting me.
I never took any task I was given lightly. I have thought about what I can change and work better. We need to see if we are satisfied with our work as measured by others. I am completely satisfied with that.
I am proud to have served in this Tamil Nadu Police which has the qualities of bravery, wisdom, dignity and welfare of the people.
The excellent work done by the policemen and officers at the level of each police station will bring good name to the higher authorities and the government.
It is due to their hard work that Tamil Nadu Police today is the best in India in maintaining law and order, preventing crime and detecting crimes. I thank them for that and request them to continue to provide such efforts.
Every problem that comes to the police station with grief is huge for them. When we work to get justice for them because of our righteous action to remove those sufferings, the bloom and smile on their faces is priceless.
