Polling for 25 Lok Sabha constituencies and 175 assembly constituencies in Andhra Pradesh is going on in a single phase. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSR at a polling station in Guntur in Andhra Pradesh which has been going on since 7 am today. A video of party MLA MA Sivakumar slapping a voter on the cheek while queuing to cast his vote has gone viral.
A voter asked an MLA who was not queuing to cast his vote in Denali constituency in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. An argument ensued between the two and MLA Sivakumar suddenly slapped the person on the cheek.
The person who took the room also assaulted MLA Sivakumar in response and the MLA’s assistants slapped the person. Other voters saw this and tried to stop the attack. This video is now going viral on social media.
The incident caused a lot of excitement in the polling station. Also, the police stationed there for security have pacified both of them and sent them away.
