TVS, one of the leading two-wheeler manufacturers, has launched the racing edition of the Apache RTR 160 model. Apache RTR 160 is one of the best selling bikes in the 150 cc segment. This bike was launched in 2007 by TVS. Since then it has been continuously updated.
The now-launched Racing Edition comes in a unique matte black color. While the Apache RTR 160 Racing Edition has received some styling updates for cosmetic purposes, TVS has upgraded the bike with a host of additional features.
Styling updates include carbon fiber-like graphic panels and red alloy wheels. The red colored graphics on the carbon fiber panels add to the beauty of the bike. It is also unique.
New Features in TVS Apache RTR 160 Racing Edition:
This bike has three new riding modes namely Sport, Urban and Rain. A digital LCD display with TVS SmartX connectivity is provided. Bluetooth and voice assist navigation are also provided. Front and rear LED lights are provided.
TVS has given the Apache RTR 160 Racing Edition model Glide Through technology, mainly for smooth travel at low speeds, i.e. smooth travel in traffic.
There is no change in the engine. The same 159.7 cc single cylinder engine that churns out 16hp of the standard bike is used in this racing edition as well.
TVS has launched this special edition Apache RTR 160 Racing Edition bike at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.29 lakh. This is Rs 8,000 more than the base variant of the Apache RTR 160 bike.
