Delhi: BJP members including Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah strongly condemned Rahul Gandhi’s statement that all Hindus are not BJP and Prime Minister Modi.
While the 18th Lok Sabha session was being held last week, Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi said today that there is a systematic attack on those who opposed the attack on the Constitution of India. Many of us (of the opposition) were personally attacked. Some of our leaders are still in jail. All those who opposed the encroachments on the poor, dalits and minorities were crushed. I was struck by the Prime Minister’s order.
PM Modi says that people came to know about Mahatma Gandhi through a documentary film. The Prime Minister also claims that he is an incarnation of God. Not only one religion speaks of courage. All religions talk about courage. All Hindus are BJP, RSS and not PM Modi. BJP people do not follow true Hindu dharma. BJP people are intolerant Hindus. Lord Shiva has a trident on his left shoulder. It is not a symbol of violence. As it is a symbol of non-violence, Rahul Gandhi continued his speech very passionately.
While Rahul Gandhi was speaking, Prime Minister Modi and Union Minister Amit Shah strongly opposed Rahul Gandhi’s speech. Prime Minister Modi said, ‘It is the worst thing that the Leader of the Opposition calls the entire Hindu community violent’.
Next, Amit Shah said, ‘The Leader of the Opposition (Rahul Gandhi) categorically says that Hindus talk violence and do violence. Associating violence with any religion is wrong. This is not a tent of telling lies. Evidence of his speech should be presented in the House. Otherwise, Amit Shah spoke his views in the Lok Sabha furiously asking that he should be pardoned for what he said.
After this, opposition leader Rahul Gandhi continued to deliver his speech despite strong opposition to Rahul Gandhi’s speech among BJP members.
