Delhi: The NEET examination which was scheduled to be held tomorrow across the country has been suddenly postponed. This action has been taken in the wake of the recent revelations of various scams in the NEET exam.
Various scams have come to light in the NEET exam held last May. A series of irregularities such as question paper leakage, cheating in awarding of marks are coming to light. Many people have been arrested across the country in this regard. Due to this, protests are going on all over the country to cancel the NEET exam.
In this context, the NEET-PG examination for medical postgraduates was to be held across the country tomorrow (June 23). NEET is the exam for admission to postgraduate medical courses like MD, MS. While lakhs of students had applied for this exam, the hall tickets were also given on 18th.
In this case, the central government has ordered the cancellation of this NEET master’s examination today. In a statement released by the Union Ministry of Health, “The NEET Master’s examination scheduled to be held tomorrow has been postponed. The new date will be announced soon. This action has been taken in view of complaints of irregularities in some competitive examinations. The Ministry of Health has decided to evaluate the procedures of the NEET Master’s examination,” said the statement. .
