The first Hindu temple has been built in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Day by day the number of country residents and tourists is increasing at this temple. Opposite this temple is the CSI Church. The church is open for public worship from today.
The two shrines at Abu Muriqah in Abu Dhabi are built on 4.37 acres of land donated by the UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The country has laid down rules of conduct to be followed by those wishing to visit these places of worship and laws to ensure safety and religious harmony.
These regulations came into effect under the UAE Federal Law(9) in 2023 regarding the regulation of these holy places for non-Muslims.
Rules :
- Do not engage in any act of insulting the teachings of any religion, sect or belief.
- The prayer hall and prayer room should be used only for worship. Conversely, no other use is permitted.
- No interference is allowed within these two premises in the internal and external affairs of the country and the Constitution, in a manner prejudicial to public peace.
- Any activity that incites sectarian, racial, religious or ethnic conflict or calls for extremism to violence is not permitted.
- Any activity intended to promote a religion or sect or belief is not permitted within these two premises.
- Visitors or devotees entering any building must follow the rituals and procedures of the place of worship and no diversion is allowed.
- One must not perform any ritual that harms the individual or others.
- A person is not allowed to do any activity that threatens the health or safety of a visitor or worker.
- Conference, Seminar, Meetings or any public event may be held with the permission of the appropriate authority.. but no arrangement shall be made without such permission..
- Funds should not be used for any purpose other than those for which they are intended.
- Collecting donations, allowing them to be collected, or announcing them by audio, print, visual, social media or any other means is prohibited.
- Administrators in these two places are not allowed to have formal or informal relations with diplomatic or official institutions of any country.
- We are not allowed to interfere in the internal or external politics of other countries or to use places of worship for that purpose.
The Arab government has laid down appropriate protocols for the devotees visiting the Hindu and Christian temples located opposite and the employees who may work there. It also warns that those who violate these regulations will be fined between one hundred thousand and three billion dirhams.
The Arab country has definitely said that the fine will be 22 lakh 70 thousand to 6 crore 81 lakh in Indian Rupees.
