The vehicles brought to the President’s office from various government institutions including ministries and departments in the past were kept in the premises near the President’s office and were handed back to the respective institutions today (01) afternoon.
During this, arrangements were made to hand over 19 vehicles and 15 of them were handed over to the officials of the concerned companies who had made a pre-announced visit.
Accordingly, 8 vehicles of the Road Development Authority and 03 vehicles of the Ministry of Finance were returned from the Southern Provincial Council, Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation Services, Department of Wildlife and a total of 15 vehicles.
President’s Office Senior Additional Secretary Roshan Gamage, Additional Secretary Mahesh Hewavidharana and others attended the vehicle handover event.
