58The Department of Meteorology has predicted that there will be a slight increase in rainfall in the south-western part of Sri Lanka for the next few days from tomorrow (26).
Today (25th) there is a chance of rain several times in Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle and Matara districts in Sabaragamuwa provinces.
Light rain may occur in North-West Province.
There is a possibility of strong winds up to 50 km per hour from time to time in the western slopes of the Central Highlands and in the North, North Central and North Western provinces and Trincomalee, Monarakala and Ambantotai districts.
In other parts of the country, strong winds of 30-40 km per hour may occur from time to time.
