Also, Aadikrithikai festival is going to be celebrated on 29th July at Tiruthani Murugan Temple. This day is said to be an auspicious day for Murugan. It is customary to celebrate Aadikrittigi in Tiruthani. A local holiday has been given to Tiruvallur district on this day.
